Transfer Images from Camera to Computer Photo Album - Picasa
(Linux, Mac or PC)

If you are a Mac user, you are probably familiar with iPhoto as your Photo Album. If you are a Windows user you may not even have a photo album installed on your computer. We are going to recommend and teach Picasa in this workshop because it is a great photo album, works on all platforms and reduces file size images without having to use a specific image editor like Photoshop, Imageblender or Picnik!

  1. Picasa Help Page  - The Picasa Help Page has everything to get you started including downloading the latest version of Picasa to either your Linux, Mac or PC.

  2. Picasa Web Albums - From your Picasa hard drive application you can upload pictures to your Picasa Web Albums account. to create an account you need to have first signed up for a Google Gmail account or a Google Account. We recommend creating a Gmail account and then you will have complete access to every application Google makes!
